Wow! Put your head down for a minute and before you know it your clocks have sprung forward an hour and winter is over. For the most part anyway. Our secret mountain lair remains buried in snow, perfect camouflage.
So what have we been up to while we had our heads buried in the snow? A LOT!
When Big Bears Invade
First things first: When Big Bears Invade has made it to the proofing stage. What does this mean exactly? Well, it means laying out each page, hunching over, and going over every minute detail with a fine tooth-comb. Alexander Finbow chose each word in WBBI very carefully and we would be remiss if we did injustice to his craft.
What can we say about the book though? Well, it looks good… like, really good. We cannot wait to share the book with you. Those who pre-ordered, we thank you sincerely. You are all in for a treat. Be sure to send us a pic when you hang your limited edition prints on the wall!
However, the fun doesn’t stop there! Be sure to check us out as we launch the book in style! Nyco and Alexander will be heading to various Canadian cities to perform the story. Stay tuned as we lock in the dates.
The Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo
It’s almost time for one of our favourite expos. We will be holding down the the booth at Stampede Park April 27th-30th. Be sure to swing by and give us a friendly hello. If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, you can do so HERE. And if you can’t find us at the booth, maybe check John Cusack's table. We’ll be the guys in long trench coats holding boom boxes over our heads. Can’t miss us.
We love this great country of ours, and if you’re reading this post then you probably already know this. To help celebrate we are offering our Canadian History Pack. You get three of our best selling stories, The Loxleys and Confederation, The Loxleys and the War of 1812 and Jeff Martin’s Redcoats-ish. It’s an amazing deal celebrating this amazing country. You can check this great deal out here.
That’s all for now. I’ll be sure to keep you updated more frequently. In the meantime, I see a sliver of sun peeking through the blizzard, so I’m going to set up a lawn chair and have 5 minutes of bliss. Where did I put my comic books?
