The Tiger is coming
July 3rd, 2009Turning Tiger, a 2 part colour comic, heralds the first comic release from Renegade showcasing new talent.
You may have come across Richmond Clements at the excellent Hi Ex convention or in the pages of fanzines like Future Quake, now you’ll be able to read his professional comic writing debut. Rich pitched his idea like so many do, and we were impressed enough to give him a chance.
He’s delivered a great 2 part script with potential for more to come if you like it enough. On art duties, is the fabulously talented Alex Moore, a young woman with a lot of talent and great potential. Her style is different and feels more European in its approach than a lot of artists with influence from the American’s.
Here’s the quick pitch on the story:
Turning Tiger
Take one state of the art fully armed sentient military attack robot, let it go rogue, then set the US army and more robots after it. And let it happen in down town USA.
If things get bad, have it kidnap a child and see if you can stop her parents blowing the operation wide open to the media.
