"Like a freight train of mean action and dark humor Alexander Finbow and William Simpson present stories reminiscent of the best English Crime Thrillers in the vein of Get Carter, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels or The Limey."

The Shades of Grey comics are extremely enjoyable. The storyline is entertaining, and action packed. The graphics in this comic are incredible. There are a few twists that the reader would not see coming. I definitely look forward to the up coming comics. I would absolutely recommend Shades of Grey to anyone.

The action in Shades of Grey reads as if it is straight out of a movie, which is good, because it is. But this isn’t your average movie adaptation, this is a what-if tale featuring characters who didn’t survive the movie. An interesting take on a story, for sure.

Moments of beauty contrast wonderfully with the violence shaded world in which our protagonists live. As the characters push their boundaries, so too does the world open up to allow their continued growth.

Grim and gritty explodes from almost every page, leaving the reader very little time to contemplate the actions of our would-be heroes. As one action soaked scenario wraps up, a new door opens to suggest the next twist in the tale, leaving us with our only problem… Waiting for the next issue.
